Katherine Liss

Katherine Liss's passion for landscape is rooted in the power of places to unify and connect a community. She is inspired by the role that landscape architects play in joining multidisciplinary knowledge, client desires, and site challenges into holistic solutions. Katherine excels at developing design solutions to complex grading and site challenges and strives to create built environments that are ecologically functional public spaces. Her interests and extensive experience in documentation and construction administration are complemented by her enjoyment of client interaction in overseeing the transformation of the landscape through design.

After graduating with honors from the University of Connecticut with a BLA, Katherine gained over seven years of experience at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates. Now settled in Seattle, she looks forward to exploring the West Coast landscape.
