Charlie Table

Charlie Table for Landscape Forms

The Charlie Table was originally designed for Millennium Park. GGN re-imagined the traditional picnic table as a lighter, more refined part of social environments. Charlie’s tabletop and seats are floating planes connected, lifted, and supported by the swooping lines of legs that skim the ground below.

The asymmetrical arrangement of the legs creates a dynamic view as one moves toward and around each table. Charlie’s oval form allows up to six people to sit comfortably on the benches. The open ends of the table can accommodate two additional people in separate chairs or wheelchairs.
